My small kennels started in 1976 when I purchased my first Irish Setter SCARLET of O'HARA, she was not the ideal Irish but her temperament and soundness could not be beat, as she matured I thought as we all do wouldn't it be nice to have a puppy? She was mated to Mr Alec Dodmans BARNSFORD WINSTON and from this union came two delightful puppies with whom I had a great deal of fun.

As the years rolled by my first love the Irish where by now beginning to become old ladies and competition was very strong, I heard of the black and tan setters and decided to see them for myself. Thats how Carek Pink Lady of Diptonia came to me from Mrs Y Horrocks, a beautiful Gordon with style and soundness, later l added Timadon Lochshiel Of Diptonia from Mr and Mrs G Coupe, another outstanding Gordon these two were the foundation of my Gordon Dogs

We welcome to DIPTONIA our new future prospect in the shape of DUNNYGASK JUNIPER JW, Irish Setter.
