The first Gordon Setter I saw was SH. CH. CAREK BRONZE CLANSMAN owned by Mrs M Hart, this turned out to be love at first sight, I couldn't wait to have one. A phone call to Mrs Y Horrocks and CAREK PINK LADY OF DIPTONIA came into my life. This turned out to be my foundation bitch. Although not extensively shown she gained her stud book entry and produced a dog who became this kennels first Show Champion his name was Sh. Ch. DIPTONIA PIMPERNEL.
The Second Sh. Ch. to be bred was Sh Ch DIPTONIA DOUBLE SCOTCH
retired from the show ring now.
Diptonia Cornflower is a Reserve Challenge Certificate winner and also Green Stars. Diptonia Tiger's Eye to Melview is a Green Star winner. , Melview Eva Moore who is sired by Diptonia Snapdragon has won One Challenge Certificate and a Reserve Challenge Certificate. Diptonia Double Scotch delighted me this year by winning the CC at Gundog Society of Wales Ch. Show and then going on to Reserve Best In Show and then the following week won the CC at the British Gordon Setter Club Ch. Show and Best In Show he now has gained his title SH CH
Melview Eva Moore added a further two CC's to her quota and thereby gained her title. She is of course sired by Diptonia Snapdragon.
